Oh beep, I want to see that Inu Yasha dub on Cartoon Network last night, but alas I have no cable (modem, yes, tv, no). I've been illicitly watching Inu Yasha subtitled by devoted anime fans on the net for the last year and I've managed to get at least Ivo-san, Vanessa, and Jorghnassen obsessed with the series. I say at least because I haven't been trying to recruit anyone lately and it seems more and more people like it. Inu Yasha ROCKS!

I really don't understand why cartoons nowadays are totally crap. I mean, CRAP. I don't think that animation is the reason, since animation has been reasonably better quality than back in the 80's when He-Man and She-Ra with their paperdoll like characters strutted around as though they had large objects inserted in very uncomfortable places. But seriously, who wants to see Scooby Doo again? Why remake Transformers when they could just show reruns? Whatever happened to Gargoyles? WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BLEEPINGLY STUPID BLEEPING BLEEP BLEEEEEP POKEMON CLONES ON TELEVISION???? Why does our society believe that cartoons are solely for the braindead 3 to 6 year olds, when people of all ages lament the "insightful" cartoons of their youth? I could go on, but then I'd end up falling asleep on the keyboard and poking my eye out on my tablet pen sticking up in front of it. I suppose I'll stop now.

By the way, I haven't given up on comics yet. I'm just, uh, resting. Yeah.
